Start of Adam Barralet's Workshop

From the meeting with the Boutique owners in Ormoc we headed straight to the AMA Computer Learning Center for Adam's workshop. We appreciate very much ACLC for accommodating the workshop.

We could not use the Ormoc City Superdome for his workshop from 6PM to 9PM. We were asked 5,000 pesos per night for that. So, that was out of the question. All of our visitors were donating 6 days of their time and services for Ormoc. Carol and Mel's travel were sponsored by the Rotary Club of Matilda Bay. Adam's travel to Ormoc was sponsored by Otto Energy and his travel going back to Australia was sponsored by NorAsian Energy. Hideaki's travel from Malaysia to Ormoc and back was sponsored by the Product Development Staff of Ammado.com.

The city could not see the relevance of their travel and purpose in coming to Ormoc. They could not reciprocate the enthusiasm that our international visitors expressed. Well, thanks anyway, to Mayor Eric Codilla who approved Carol's request to use the Superdome from 6PM-7PM, July 4 for the clothes parade. Thanks also to Alvin Racaza who implemented the mayor's approval.

Adam had 47 students in the 5-6PM slot, 52 in the 6:30-7:30PM and 24 in the 8-9PM time slot. These are the ones who have filled up registration forms. There were those coming from the Community Livelihood Centers who did not bother to fill up the forms.

Well, it's the first time in Ormoc history that we had this kind of workshop! What do you expect? Other schools wanted to be in the workshop, much as we want to, but there was just no way we could accommodate them.
