ROMs Sponsor Sewing Class Students

Making true to her promise, Mel just deposited 100 Australian dollars to the Eastern Visayas State University Ormoc Dressmaking Class.  She promised this during their visit to the said campus in 2012.  This will pay for the full tuition of four Dressmaking students who are mostly women.

The Rom family of Perth, Western Australia are the owners of  Rom Designs, a jewellery label that was started by the couple Mel and Rhay Rom.

The couple are part of the Textile Clothing Footwear Western Australia's first batch of donations which started TCF Ormoc.  They  (Mel, Rhay, Mitchell and Melody)  were in Ormoc last year and promised to sponsor TCF sewing class students at the Eastern Visayas State University Ormoc.

Mel also owns Social Ediquette on Facebook.

I've been in and out of the Philippines. And when I get back soon, I plan to visit Ormoc. Now that I've read this article.
