New CLC opened

United Village Homeowners' Association Inc. (UVHAI) has its own Community Livelihood Center through the efforts of its outgoing President and CLC Coordinator Mrs. Gregoria Soria.

This CLC has 3 members and will be called UVHAI CLC.

HELP VULNERABLE KIDS AWAY FROM TRAFFICKING

In partnership with Visayan Forum under its STEP-UP project with Microsoft, Pagtinabangay Foundation provides computer lessons to out-of-school and some in-school kids.

Though the lessons are for free, many kids could not come to the center for lack of money for transportation and meals. They have to report to the Center everyday for 5 days in a week for the lessons. Sometimes it takes one kid more than a month to learn especially to those who are computer newbies - those who have held a computer the first time in their lives.

Your US$25 will help one child to finish a computer literacy program and will enable the child to get a more decent job. PFI will send you the child's signed transportation and meal voucher.
